About Alresford Golf Club
Beneficially situated on chalk downland on the outskirts of the ancient market town of New Alresford, Alresford Golf Club is recognised as one of the friendliest clubs in Hampshire. Being a traditional “members club” means that our members have full control over the running of the club and any surplus revenue is re-invested in the course and clubhouse.
Recent significant expansion of the club’s practice facilities are a good example of re-investment for the benefit of the members – and of course are fully available to visiting golfers playing the course and also as part of our innovative membership categories. Note that we are not a public driving range.
Whilst we obviously have a hard-working and permanent paid staff, members freely give their time and energies in many different areas of club operation. All of the key committees are largely comprised of members – ensuring that the clubhouse atmosphere and (most importantly) the course are maintained to a high and sympathetic standard.
