How To Reach Us
By Car
We are situated immediately south of New Alresford and unless you approach from Cheriton, we can only be reached via the town. As you pass through the town, from east or west, look for a road sign B3046 (Jacklyn’s Lane) to Cheriton – there is also a brown sign for Alresford Golf Club. After passing under a railway bridge the road climbs fairly steeply and then slopes downward – before the bottom of the hill you pass the Cricketers Pub on your left, then cross a modern bridge over the A31 – Alresford Golf Club is 200 yards on your left.
By Bus
The Stagecoach Route 64 between Winchester and Alton stops near Alresford Golf Club on both the eastbound and westbound directions at these stops:
Bakeland Gardens: approximately 350 metres, two roads to cross if eastbound, one road if westbound. Gradient for part of the journey. No shelters. No actual bus stop on eastbound side although stop is active.
The Cricketers: approximately 350 metres, two roads to cross if eastbound, one road if westbound. Gradients for all the journey. Shelter only in eastbound direction.
Stagecoach states that low floor access and wheelchair access are available on this route.
Car Parking
Alresford Golf Club has dedicated disabled parking. Access to the clubhouse, some 30m, is down a sloping tarmac path.
