Whether a beginner or a lapsed player, starting your golfing journey at Alresford Golf Club provides a conducive and supportive environment with professional guidance, great practice facilities, and an easy walking course open nearly all year round. What’s stopping you?

Golf is great fun and very rewarding. Golf offers a lot of benefits from physical activity to mental challenge and social interaction. It may seem to be a little bit nerve-wracking for newcomers to the game but at Alresford Golf Club we will ensure that you get the right support around you to make your journey into the game an enjoyable one.

If this is you, why not become an Academy Member at Alresford Golf Club and have access to:

• A structured individual coaching programme, delivered by PGA Qualified Golf Professionals, within a club environment
• Group coaching sessions, competitions and the opportunity to play and socialise with other Academy members
• A member buddy who will help you with integration into the wider Club community
• Opportunities to play regularly and build confidence on the Par 3 Course and the main Course when it is quieter
• A guided pathway for you to progress at your own pace to full membership
• Additional lessons can be booked directly with our PGA Qualified Golf Professionals at the appropriate rate.

Progression to a full playing membership can be at any time and you will bypass any ‘waiting list’ that may be in place at that time. Our PGA Professionals will be able to advise you when to take the next step.

Note: A person can only be an Academy Member for a maximum of two years.
