All players are encouraged to use the Clubhouse changing facilities and not the car park.
Appropriate dress must be worn at all times.
On the course
Hats and visors should be appropriate to golf and worn the correct way round. Shirts should be appropriate to golf and may be worn outside of trousers if so designed. T-Shirts, beachwear, rugby or football shirts are not acceptable. Blue denim jeans and untailored or combat style trousers are not acceptable. Ladies may wear crop trousers.
Alresford is proud of its course and the condition in which it is presented throughout the year for members and visitors. We would ask all golfers to exercise good golfing etiquette whilst playing, ensuring that divots are replaced, pitch marks repaired and bunkers raked (please leave rakes in the bunkers). Whilst we accept both soft spike and metal spike shoes, we would prefer for visitors and members to avoid wearing Adidas golf shoes with the original adizero spikes. These were found to have a detrimental effect on the surface of greens particularly when conditions are wet and the ground is soft as they concentrate weight over a small area causing indents to the surface which can take longer to repair. If in doubt please ask in the Pro-Shop.
In the clubhouse
