Vet’s tee reservations
Once again it was nigh on impossible for members to book a slot on the morning of the 10th August, due to the preferential slots given to the Vet’s. This practise is extremely unfair to the vast majority of members who would like a mid week game on a Wednesday morning.

Firstly please accept my apologies for the delayed response. The functionality of the Comments Section was not working and I have only just received this notification.
The Captains Committee has sought to address this issue for both the remainder of 2022 and 2023. The Vets agreed to reduce their ‘roll up’ slots when a HOME fixture coincided on a Wednesday for the remainder of this year.
This they have done and it has been reflected in the tee sheet.
There are 96 slots normally available to reserve. In addition 28 spaces are usually reserved for both the Vets and club ‘roll up’. On this occasion the Vets only had 16, reflecting their match booking.
This process and move has been reported in the CAPCOM minutes.
For 2023 they have worked hard to move Wednesday fixtures to a PM start wherever possible thus not blocking more AM tee times.
What we can not avoid is the fact that there are a limited number of slots and if the demand is greater than the slots available on any day (not just a Wednesday) , we cannot accommodate everyone who may decide they want to play.
It is a difficult problem we are constantly juggling with.
