We aim to maintain a raked sand depth of at least 2–3 inches, in line with industry standards. However, this depends on greenkeeping staff being able to perform regular maintenance, which is influenced by staffing levels, weather conditions, and the priority of other tasks.

Additionally, sand depth can vary as it is moved around during raking by players. Over time, sand compacts and is topped up, causing the total depth to increase gradually.
