Is there a standard depth of sand in the bunkers that we try to maintain?
In general we try to maintain a raked sand depth of at least an inch, which is in keeping with industry standards. Ideally on a daily basis on weekdays, but this will depend on staffing levels, weather and priority of other maintenance tasks. At weekends we try to employ casual staff purely for bunker raking, but if they are not available only bunkers in the greatest need of raking will be dealt with by the duty member…
