Social Membership

Alresford Golf Club is a Members Club with friendship and community at its heart. As such there is a thriving social scene to enjoy for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Events

The Club has an exciting calendar of exclusive social events throughout the year including traditional events such as Burns Night, Club Dinner and New Year’s Eve Dinner dance to gourmet evenings, quiz nights, tribute music evenings, Bridge Club and seasonal events.

Facilities

We are pleased to showcase our tastefully refurbished Clubhouse; dining room, lounge and bar to all members and their guests. The comfortable lounge is equipped with wi-fi and two high definition TV’s with Sky Sports to give members the opportunity to watch and enjoy major sporting and golf events before or after their golf.  There is also plenty of space to find a quiet corner to enjoy a coffee (or glass of something chilled!) and a chat with friends or take a moment to catch up with those important emails (and check-in on social media!).

Views from our patio are simply stunning. Unique to Alresford, you can watch play on the 9th ,10th, and 18th holes and with a covered shaded seating area there is room for all to relax with good food and drinks in the sunshine! Dogs are permitted on the patio (but not in the Clubhouse unless assistance dogs, or on the Course).

Members Dining

Our delicious new Clubhouse menu courtesy of TheKitchen@ is available seven days a week. They also cater for golf societies, Club matches, Sunday dining and private functions.

The well-stocked bar has an excellent selection of draft and bottled beers and ales from around the world as well as a large selection of fine wines and spirits. The lounge area is ideal for informal dining.

Dress Code

The Club does have a dress code, ‘Smart Casual’ is the accepted norm unless otherwise specified for particular events.

Why Join?

Becoming a Social Member allows you to enjoy the facilities of the Clubhouse all year round and attend any of the non-golfing social events.

As a Social Member, you will receive a 10% discount on food and a 20% discount on drinks over the bar.  Preferential rates when booking functions, anniversaries and private parties.
