New Website is Live!

Finally, after a long development effort, Alresford Golf Club has a new website. All the content of the old site is here and quite a bit more. The development environment (WordPress) and any individual tools used are free and “Open Source” – so there has been almost no cost to the club.

A decision was taken early on to move from the proprietary calendar system used on the old site to a public Google Calendar. Members now have much more flexibility in the use of our Club Diary.  Everything in the old calendar has been imported and is current.

The members’ section has been extended to provide a complete archive of the excellent eBulletins, over time more and more content will be added for members. The username and password remain the same.
