Junior Golf at Alresford Golf Club

Alresford Golf Club’s Junior Section stands out for fostering a love of golf among young players. The Club provides the opportunities necessary to encourage juniors who wish to start playing the game for the first time in a supportive environment where young people can develop their skills to help them get the most out of this popular sport while promoting the benefits of golf to juniors and their families while emphasising both the fun and skills enhancement.

Our course is an easy walking course, not overly long for junior golfers but with a range of tees for all levels of ability.

With dedicated coaching, engaging tournaments, and a focus on sportsmanship, the Junior Section encourages camaraderie and a lifelong appreciation for the sport. Alresford Golf Club’s commitment to nurturing young talent creates a positive and inclusive atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for juniors aspiring to excel in golf while enjoying a vibrant community of fellow young golf enthusiasts.  Alresford Golf Club has direct links with local schools and is SafeGolf accredited.

Junior membership offers:

• Access to coaching with our resident PGA coaches
• Help to attain an official handicap
• Access to some of the best practice facilities in Hampshire including a par 3 course
• A pathway to using the main course (time restrictions may apply)
• Discounted food and drink
• An annual calendar of 10 junior competitions, including Club Championship, team competitions and inter-club matches. Access to adult competitions, subject to handicap
• Support of our Junior Club Captain and Junior Coordinator to make sure you build relationships with other members and get the most enjoyment out of the game
• Organised outings to PGA events

We offer complimentary Junior membership for Under 12s if parent or grandparent are full playing members, restrictions apply.
