The 1^st tee will be closed for 18 holes from 8:45am but 9 holes can be played until 10:40am. The 1^st and 10^th tees need to be clear for an 11am two-tee start. For a window, the 1^st tee will open again for members from midday and close around 12.45pm to allow those who started on the 10^th to move onto the front 9 holes.

The new season is fast approaching as we all look forward to some enjoyable nine hole Summer evening golf.  Therefore in order that members fully understand TG, we are holding an informal evening’s gathering on Thursday 16^th February from 5pm to 7pm, to be available to talk members through the format and rules.  This should be also be particularly helpful to newer members and all those who may wish to join in and meet other members.

The winner will partner our Head Professional,Mark Wood in the Regional Final taking place at High Post Golf Club, Wiltshireon 18th September and if successful there, the next stage is an all-expensespaid trip to the prestigious PGA National Turkey at Antalya Golf Club. Thefive-star venue in Belek will welcome 12 pro-am pairs from November 27th toDecember 1st, 2023 to compete over the PGA Sultan course and determine the 2023champions.

We will make it a social event with a BBQ on the Monday afternoon followed by trophy and prize giving. We welcome teams from all sections of our membership. If you do not have a team we will have a waiting list and help if possible to make up a team for you.

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN - Midwich Dawn are returning.
The band that christened the refurbished clubhouse last summer are back by popular demand.
They are a four-piece band playing rock covers with anything from Elvis to MarkRonson’s Uptown Funk, Queen to David Bowie, and anything in between! Certainly a crowd-pleaser and dance floor filler.
The band will start at 19:30 pm and the option of food will be available as shown on the poster.
Ticket Prices are £20.00 per person (with the food option) or £10.00 per person (with no food)

On Monday29th May the Social Committee will be running a Mixed Golf Flag Competitionfollowed by a 1-course meal.

The cost is £16, including the meal with tea or coffee and prizes. The firsttee is at 12:00 noon.

Partners are drawn. Each pair receives a number of shots and a flag. The flag isplanted on the course when you run out of shots. If a pair finishes all 18holes before using all their shots they continue to play on the 1st again untilthey run out of shots. The winner is the pair who plants their flag farthest onthe course!

The meal options are:
A Salmon fillet, new potatoes, green vegetables, and watercress sauce (GF)
B Roast chicken, dauphinoise potato, green vegetables and gravy
S Vegetarian or Special dietary requirements - to be arranged directly with thekitchen
