Who's WhoPractice Area
| The recent cource developments involving alterations to the
layout of the 1st hole plus new tees, was in part due to the
acquisition of additional leased land beyond the original practice
area. This has now been developed into a much larger 200+ yards range
with covered bays and extended grass teeing area allowing members to
practice long irons and woods.
It is hoped that a ball collection system will come into operation in early 2010, but again this is subject to appropriate funding. The existing chipping green is due to be extended (2010) at the same time the pathways to the new 1st tees are constructed. The old 1st fairway and area to the lefthandside has been sculpted and overseeded ready for the future development of a small par 3 Acadamy area, club funds permitting. All of the above it is felt will make a positive addition to the existing practice facilites available to members and those taking lessons from the club professionals. |
